A Simple Request...

Just when I think I've got things under control in this crazy chaos that is my world, life steps in to remind me to allow for variable change.

I've been admitted into the hospital and will be undergoing and recuperating from an unplanned and unexpected surgery this week. So, I'm in need of a strong group of prayer warriors! I would be so appreciative if you would pray for a flawless surgery and an extremely speedy recovery! I want to go home!

Hope to be blogging again very soon!

  1. Prayers are with you Laurie Anna! I got that reminder myself last May when I was hit with appendicitis. Four days in the hospital and I wanted to go home by day two. Hopefully, while you recuperate you can catch up on some books, magazines and blogs!

  16. Well now this is a heck of a time of year for you to need surgery! OF COURSE we will pray for you -- so many of us, that the Lord will be overwhelmed by the response.

Get well, and be well. Fast. We'll all be here waiting for you when you return.

Prayers and good thoughts . . . Cass

  17. Sending a big South Texas Get Well from Cindy. Hospitals can be yuck...or... what a time to witness to those around you. I know... I was in for quite some time a few years back.Kindness and a smile go along way with the nurses and staff.By reading your post I'm sure you radiate all these traits naturally. We will be praying for a speedy recovery. Just listen to the Dr.'s and take time to Heal...yeah I didn't...trip back to hospital from over doing it...so..I speak from experience...let others wait on you..lol Cindy
