Dinner on the Patio

Hubster and I had dinner for the first time on the patio, we made it special.  My preference is to take photos during the day because the lighting is prettier, but I like the way this looks at night too.
This patio has come a long way, I'm very pleased with the simplicity of it.  It's not elegant or formal, but I find it very charming....maybe that's why.

This is one of my creations, it's a chandelier made from a turkey feeder.  I do seem to have a strange fixation on farm feeders, perhaps because I love anything Farmhouse related.
Over the years, I've made and sold dozens of these at shoppe, but this one is just for 5th Place!

The greenery is from a tree in the back yard that needed trimming.  Can it get more simple....or lovely?
Aren't tablescapes fun?  If you enjoy them too, be sure to check out Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch..

These are my favorite new arrival at the store.  A bud vase and place card holder in one.  I love the fluted ribbed glass....aren't they simple and pretty?  They would be lovely for a wedding, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to enter the giveaway and linky party, click here to enter.

  42. Hello LaurieAnna! I have visited your blog off and on through Cherry Hill Cottage but decided to finally become a follower. What a LOVELY Blog you have! I want to thank you for showing a picture of your chicken/turkey feeder lantern. We moved to our little 5 acre farm in the middle of no-where (we love it!) with it's little cottage farmhouse last June. At one time years ago it was a chicken growing operation and we have a barn load of old chicken feeders that I've been wondering what to do with. I thought of a feeder and got my hubby to put holes in the bottom of one but I LOVE what you did with yours! I'm thinking that this would make the perfect light for the screened in porch Mr Fixit plans to build on later this summer. THANK YOU so much for the inspiration! I love your little cottage and what you've done with it and I'm looking forward to reading your archives. I hope you have a wonderful day....Maura :)
