For the Love of Flowers

Why is it everytime I make a trip to Walmart for milk or bread, I always seem to end up in the garden section?  Does this happen to you too?

And, once there, I am "planted" for a good while, I just can't get enough of all the blooms and never leave empty-handed!  They had some of the prettiest periwinkle blue flowering plants today....I just couldn't resist!
Look how pretty the antique French Garden sink looks filled up with Fan Flowers!
And, I love how the Plumbagos look in this shabby cottage planter just outside the back door at 5th Place.

My love of flowers and plants has led me to believe that we need a greenhouse....just a small one.

I haven't shared this thought with hubster yet.....think I'll let the blog do the sharing!

  1. I know what you mean about going to the store for just bread, etc.! Your flowers and containers for them are lovely! I had a small greenhouse a LONG time ago.

  5. Beautiful flowers and containers LaurieAnna...love the colors. Yes I do the same when I go to WalMart although until we get our screened porch built and picket fence up to keep our Shep out I don't bring any perennials home..or at least not too many! I'm afraid most of my flowers are annuals and in containers until we're done. I hope you have a wonderful Monday...Maura:)

  8. I'm sure you would love a greenhouse. Your flowers are so pretty. I bought plants to go in my pots on the deck over the weekend, but our weather has not been great, so I am going to hold out on planting them for a while. Hopefully the sun will come out soon. Love & blessings from NC!

  14. Love the sink!!!! I have yet to have the gardening bug hit me. The weather here hasn't been conducive to planting as of yet. I am ever hopeful though that soon I will be out there planting away very soon.

like that with flowers planted in
it. I love it,its' so pretty. Look
