Rosemary was tucked into many of the Spring displays at the shoppe. I certainly couldn't have those lil beauties dry up during the month so I moved them into the wheelbarrow at 5th Place. Isn't it lovely? And, I love the fragrance!
Here's a bit of gardening trivia for you...did you know that Rosemary is a natural mosquito repellent?
That's a real plus for Texas yards during the hot summer months!
I have never been a fan of the fragrance or the taste of rosemary. But I love the way it looks, I plant it everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI did not know it was a mosquito repellant! I may have to pick some of that up and put it in pots around our patio for this Summer. Thanks for that tip!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE rosemary, but tend to "kill" them. I've never been successful at keeping one alive for long. I finally found a fake one that looks real...but I miss the fragrance! Thanks for the trivia! I didn't know that!
