We have a sweet lil' bird that dances and taps on our kitchen window everyday in the morning and the evening. He flies up and down the window with his chest pressed to the glass. He will do this for long periods of time as if he wants our attention, he's been doing it for many months. It's a phenomenon I've not ever witnessed before. We've affectionately named him, Fred, after tap dancing Fred Astaire.
I wondered last night if he would greet us today since we've been gone for 2 weeks. Bright and early this morning.....there he was. He looked at me as if to say, "Where have you been?"
Strange how the simplest things can bring so much happiness.
Thank you Fred.

ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet post Laurie... I can remember being with you one time in Corsicana, and you saw a little bird that was injured and you took it home until he mended, do you remember! I really enjoyed getting to see you guys this weekend, my ankle wasn't to happy though, it was hurting pretty good by the time we left. I just got thru doing a post about your booth at the Nutcracker!
