Brenda is also a Texas gal that loves animals and decorating. Her blog is a heavenly array of photos, ideas, decorating tips, and her writing is incredibly beautiful and honest.
Please join me in welcoming her.
This is my library nook. It is quite small. But I've managed to get a lot of bang for my buck out of this space. And it's one of my very favorite areas of my home.
First, I love books. But it's nice to also have a table and chairs in which to sit and browse through a book. Or perhaps sit down with a friend and enjoy a nice lunch. And talk about the books we're reading.
I suppose my style would be considered sort of farmhouse vintage. With lots of color. I do embrace color.
The white pitchers you see here, I got from LaurieAnna. I can't tell you how many readers have emailed me wanting to know where on earth I got those precious pitchers. And I send them straight to her.
See the little metal pockets (for lack of a better word) tied to the back of the two chairs? Yep, got them from her too. And some of the things setting inside them. I'm sure she'll recognize a lot of things in my home that came from her endless inspiration!
I love to utilize old things in new ways. Which is why I have a wash tub as part of my kitchen island!
Inspiration for vintage decorating is everywhere. And I think it's going to be around for a long, long time.
