I'm a chain!
I've always loved that Dolly Parton line from Steel Magnolias and have jokingly used it several times over the past week. This was the first show in which we had both the booth and the store open, what an experience!! Every time I would call hubby at the other location he would answer, "LaurieAnna's 2", totally cracked me up!!
We decided to keep the store open til 8pm during the First Monday shows. Aside from late shoppers leaving the grounds, we also received visits from a tremendous amount of fellow vendors at night. Many with whom we've been friends for a long time and lots of new acquaintances.
On Saturday night I had the pleasure to meet Linda and Ludmil from Willow Nest, what a charming couple! I've been a long-time fan of their work and was quite excited to meet them. Ludmil left me with a cd for the store, thank you, I love it! So many others have stopped by to visit us at the store, Annette and Megan of Annette's Touch of Class, Kaci and Luann of Patina Green, Judy Hill, Deb of Talking Trash, Margo of Robojunker, Marcie and Mayron of Unique Unique Designs, Blake from Lighthouse Candles, Shiloh, Sharon, Joan, Brenda, Cindy, several ladies from Timeless Treasures....too many to list...just goes on and on. Thank you so much for the encouragement! What a talented group we are blessed to have here in Canton!
So, what's the downside to a fabulous show at the store? Putting it all back together again! That's my task this week - till then....
Blessings,
LaurieAnna

It was truly a treat to shop in your store. We still need to talk, but I don't have your email.

Your store is stunning, it was all the buzz at dinner Friday night. We just can't stop talking about it and can't wait to get back!

How funny! I quote that line myself! Kim and I are still talking about making it to Houston...stay in touch!
I get so excited when I see a dream being lived out. It is no surprise that your shop is becoming the "buzz"...bet there's lots more excitement ahead!

Oh Laurie, your store is amazing! I've shopped with you for ages at your booth so I knew the store would be great, but wow! I was not prepared for what I saw! It's simply enchanting!
Well worth the drive, I'm telling everyone about you!
Btw, I love your blog! Didn't even know you had this!

Please keep us in your prayers. The eye of Huricane Ike is headed directly over our farm. We expect a few rough days with all of our animals. I will try and keep the blog updated as best as I can.
I`m asking to all the Bloggers to support our dear FRIEND Mandy!
