Rosemary

Rosemary was tucked into many of the Spring displays at the shoppe.  I certainly couldn't have those lil beauties dry up during the month so I moved them into the wheelbarrow at 5th Place.  Isn't it lovely?  And, I love the fragrance!

Here's a bit of gardening trivia for you...did you know that Rosemary is a natural mosquito repellent?

That's a real plus for Texas yards during the hot summer months!

I have never been a fan of the fragrance or the taste of rosemary. But I love the way it looks, I plant it everywhere.

I did not know it was a mosquito repellant! I may have to pick some of that up and put it in pots around our patio for this Summer. Thanks for that tip!

I LOVE rosemary, but tend to "kill" them. I've never been successful at keeping one alive for long. I finally found a fake one that looks real...but I miss the fragrance! Thanks for the trivia! I didn't know that!

Rosemary is one of my favorite herbs. My boys call it "our smelly plant".

Such a grand way to display Rosemary! I love to catch the aroma as I brush past it! Just like Mints of all kind. ~ Angela
