If you've read the kitchen makeover post, then you already know the challenges we faced there. But, as bad as it was, I think the master bathroom is worse. It's been an excercise in patience just to allow it to exist until the demo. But, years of experience have taught us to NOT begin what we cannot finish! A lesson we learned the hard way on the first house when we had half the house ripped apart while living in it! Want to test the strength of your marriage? That's the way to do it!
We will renovate it sometime over the few months and of course I will share all of it with you. But first we have to come up with a plan for the tiny, odd shaped space....I need some inspiration!
Soon I will share what we are facing (it's a real mess) and the challenges associated with it, but for now....let me dream.
Will you dream with me for a moment?....

Your inspiration images are gorgeous. I love the clawfoot tubs, we have two in our shed waiting for us to renovate our bathrooms! xx
I often dream about having one of those footed bathtubs... they're gorgeous!
Love these pictures! Very inspiring! Good luck. I don't envy you in your reno. We just are finishing our bathroom reno. and it took so much longer than expected. Now I am doing the fun part...those finishing touches.
Inspiration overload! Every photo I was sitting here going "ooooo and ahhhhhhhh" *smiles* Thanks for sharing!
Good Morning Laurie Anna,
I too am in the process of REmodeling an old farmhouse and our bathroom is going to be the last room we tackle. We are using it "as is" for the time being. I have my antique claw foot tub and the vision, all I need is the $$$...LOL
I love everything that you have done to your home! Can't wait to see the future posts.
Have a great week!
All of them are absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing! Good luck with yours, Theresa
I love these bathrooms. The second picture I have on my side bar! Where in the world could a person find a copper tub? That would be fantastic!
Good luk LaurieAnna!

OOOOOOOOOOOooooo if I'm dreaming,
please don't wake me!!! I love all
of them and yes that totally inspires me. I have a small cottage
too that was my Mom and Dad's home.
Problem...it's down the hill from
me and we own our home so that means I can't be in two places at
once. The bath down the hill has
that kind of tub and a whole lot
of potential but sadly I will
not be able to excute it. :(
My children grew up in our home
and hubby won't leave it so I guess
Mom & Dad's cottage will just sit.
:O(
These all look perfect for your home, Laurie Anna! Love those tubs!
Ooooh!! I am definitely inspired and I would love to have any one of those in my home.
Can't wait to see yours!
Hugs

Wow lots of ideas there! I'm liking the big gilded mirror over the vanity/basin.
Look forward to seeing what you decide to do with it!!

Ahhhhh, such beauty! Someday, I would love a tub like, well, any of those!
Love the pics...I have some of them on my latest post too! We must have great taste : )
Hi Laurie Anna,

I guess 1 more time!

Have a great day.

I really feel inspired looking at these photos. We're busy renovating one of our smaller baths with one of these old-fashioned tub and want to create just this look.
I have placed both your buttons on my blog. Please consider placing my Gold Framed Button which leads to my Boutique for easy access in your blog somewhere. Please come take a look and consider. Thanks sweetie. xoxo
Ahhh how can you ever decide..?? All are so so beautiful!
I believe that first bathroom belongs to Magnolia Pearl... I had the opportunity to visit her live last year in her home and OMG the bathroom was fabulous! I love them all.. Bathrooms are tricky!! Have a good night!!
Good luck with your next project and as always I can't wait to see. Liked your DIY blog party idea. I'll have to get my act together and play along with some of the many things I've created with good old fashioned junk.
Enjoy your week.
Kathleen
Well, you definitely inspired me! I'm another one who dreams of the antique feel of a bathroom with a claw foot tub. Bliss...
I love them all, but after I had scrolled to the bottom, I still returned to feast my eyes on picture number 1 for a bit longer.
So very lovely!!

Wow!
I would happily take one of any of those lovely bathrooms and start myself a bath right then and there. They're too pretty not to.
Can I get some info on photo #1? I am looking at the ceiling and trying to decide if it is boards or metal and the rounded trim I am guessing is metal??
I know what you mean about being patient to start a remodeling project until your able to finish it. We have been remodeling our home since we moved in six years ago. I've been there, with the house half tore apart while living in it. Oh, it was so stressful! We still have a couple of projects unfinished due to budget, and they drive me crazy every time I look at them!!
Those bathrooms definitely inspire me, too!
Take Care ~ Jo
