Even Sunday, which is typically a quieter shopping day, was crazy! If this show is any indication, October and November are going to be insane!
I'm thankful for all the visits we had from friends and fellow bloggers this show, and there were many.
We were delighted to meet author and speaker, Priscilla Shirer, of Going Beyond, what a charming couple her and her husband, Jerry, are. Theresa of Garden Antiques dropped by, she’s getting ready for the Round Top Antique Show, always so nice to see her. Cutie pie Amy of the The Flying Bee dropped by on Thursday, she has a store opening in the very near future that I’ll share more later. Becky of Buckets of Burlap came by with her beautiful family in tow. How can anyone not love her? We received a visit from Jennifer of Memento Designs who I’ve just discovered is also doing some modeling for Style Me Pretty…..she’s so stinkin cute I could just smack her! She left with a carload of goodies. Amy of Bloom and Bee Swanky paid us another visit on Sunday, perhaps someday I'll get to visit her store that I've heard is lovely. And, among my favorite people in the world, Denis of Ruby Grace, who I just learned is also a former Chase employee, zipped in and took home a few fireflies in a jar! He’s such a genuinely nice guy; everyone on the crew just lights up when he visits! I’ve no doubt left people out and I apologize in advance for that, my brain is quite scrambled after the past month.
We were all very happy to have Daphne of Daphne Nicole join us this show. Although I think she may have underestimated the craziness she was getting herself into. Her purses and pillows were a big hit, but that was certainly no surprise. Thanks Daphne!
Now, I’ve got a couple of days to get things restocked and spiffed up before Wednesday. What’s Wednesday you ask? Just a little photo shoot that we’re kind of excited about! More to come on this very soon.
Have a wonderful week!
