A Special Giveback

Our blogs and Facebook pages are valuable real estate and we can use them  to share whatever our hearts desire.

Whether it's to inspire, to educate, to minister, to share our homes, to sell our goods and promote our businesses, our blogs are very personal and it's completely up to each of us how we use them.

This is Chip

Most of you know that animal rescue is very near and dear to my heart, I'm passionate about it.  So, I've been thinking, why not use my sites to help these groups that give so much to others.

In an effort to do that, periodically I will feature a not for profit organization on my Facebook page and blog to create awareness, give back and pay it forward.  Here's how.  For every "like" that we get on the Facebook status update, LaurieAnna's Vintage Home will donate $1 to that group.

This is Lulu

Tonight, I am sponsoring the Van Zandt County Humane Society, a no kill shelter. All of the sweet babies you see here are waiting to be adopted through this loving group.  Will you please join me in supporting them?

Right now, you can help simply by clicking "like" on the status update on the LaurieAnna's Facebook page or by leaving a comment here on the blog.  Your "like" or comment is the same as a donation, only I’m making the donation on your behalf, thank you for giving me the chance to do that!

If you would like to give a gift personally, you can find the Van Zandt County Humane Society here.

Thanks!

xoxo

What a wonderful way to give. Every animal deserves a happy home. It's good to know that there are people out there who are dedicated to making that happen.

What a great idea! I wonder if they ever need a photographer...I'd be more than willing to donate some time to do so. Rescued pups are near and dear to my heart, too.

I just drifted by and read your blog. What a great thing to do, helping our four legged friends who add so much to our lives and ask so little in return.

I already "like" you on FB, but I love you even more for caring about these sweet babies! We always support our animal rescue groups here in Dallas. We lost our precious corgi girl, who we found from the SPCA, last winter, but will someday love another sweetie who needs a good home. Thank you for telling everyone of your love of rescue animals, and promoting this wonderful cause!!
xoxo, Andrea
