A Farmhouse Project

Thankfully the storms are gone and have been replaced by glorious Texas weather that is paving the way for a farmhouse project!

Finding projects is NEVER a difficult task, but selecting "which" project is always a challenge.  So, it's nice when the weather helps with the decision! :-)
Our project?... To makeover and dress up the back porch at the Farmhouse on Main ™.
I love this old porch and am excited to transform it into a welcoming outdoor space.

I'll be back in a couple days to share our progress.

What things would you add to give it some life?

Flowers for sure and some comfy places to sit. I'm anxious to see how you dress it up. We're on the road visiting family, so no projects for us.

Happy Easter!

I can't wait to see what y'all do. We just recently painted our front porch, I need to get busy dressing it up some, flowers, ferns, etc.

With a sky blue ceiling...cozy places to sit, burlap covered pillows..tables nearby that are made from repurposed objects....ferns and red geraniums in repurposed flowerpots...an oldish rug near the door.

Definitely hanging ferns and white rockers! How about a comfy porch bed too and some outdoor fans on that sky blue ceiling for hot summer days.

I just found your blog and Im lovin thumbing through the pages. Your back porch is gorgeous.....even bare. But after you add all those flowers and cushy chairs, the porch swing and everything else that everyone suggested, it will be sooo very inviting. You'll never want to go inside.
Im your newest follower. Im just over 2 months into blogland, and really enjoying it. Please come visit me at PICKINandPAINTIN.blogspot.com. THANKS 8-)
