Why is it that we begin one project and then somehow it turns into 4 or……9? Can anyone else relate?
When we started this project we were just going to add some plants and accessories to the back porch at the Farmhouse on Main.
It wasn’t long and the back porch area had extended into the yard surrounding the porch and before long....
we were putting up fence panels,
digging new walks,
(Zeek was tired from watching us work)
I think it’s just a case of ADD OCD DIY syndrome run amuck.
:-))
:-))
Okay, I know there is no such thing, but I think there should be and a good support group for it! :-))
At one point when we were on our knees up to our elbows in potting soil and fertilizer my cute hubby said,
“Is there a video camera somewhere? I feel like we're on an episode of Yard Crashers”. :-))
He's a mess I tell ya!...
As we’ve been working on outdoor projects and soaking up this beautiful Spring weather, it occurred to me, that many of you have probably been doing the very same thing over the past few weeks.
So, it got me to thinking, why don’t we have a “Garden Party” linky party where we can share with each other.
I’m excited to share our outdoor progress, but even more, I want to see what you’ve been up to at your place.
So, on Friday (April 20th), you bring your porch and/or garden area, and I’ll bring mine to the “Garden Party” linky party here at my blog.
Sound like a plan?... I can't wait to see what you've been up to!
Okay, back to videoing Yard Crashers….just kidding.
:-))
Until Friday....

oh tell me about it! I have so many projects going on right now that I get confused as to what I'm meant to be doing each day. I'm decorating the great room, finishing the hall and starting a garden from seed. I'm sure it'll all come together soon, but I know what you mean when more jobs appear. You're doing a wonderful job though, I love seeing your posts, Sally xx
LOL! Landscaping always turns into something similar with me. I've just been planning out what I'm going to do for this summer. Front yard or back yard. I still have to make up my mind.
You are a busy lady! I love the peak at the white pieces in the photos....
Greetings from the brocantes of France!

Except my garden hasn't woke up yet!! I think that once we begin creating with our hands and discover how much fun it is to see our dreams come to life, we become addicted and just want to keep doing more and more.
That's my story anyway! Love your beautiful flowers.

Oh, I wouldn't be so sure there is no such thing as ADD OCD DIY syndrome. The good news is that I don't think it is fatal but it is contagious. Looking forward to your link party!
I know what ya mean about projects turning into bigger things:) Can't wait to see the whole porch and what you have done:)
Great post,I really like your article
Gorgeous!
You have the most beautiful porch ever!! I am madly in love with your vintage cow sign! It is an amazing piece! I also love how you have practical storage pieces but they are so pretty that no one would know. All the black and white is a wonderful back drop for all your beautiful plants and flowers.
