For those of you, who have visited the Shoppe, surely know that no tablescape or room is vacant of a glass cloche vignette. We love decorating with them. How about you?
Did you know that Cloches (bell jars and or glass domes) were first used in Italy in the early 1600's to protect plants from the cold winds, frost and snow? Today the decorating possibilities are endless. The most popular uses are to showcase plants and flowers, food, antique collectibles and holiday ornaments and decorations.
They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are a practical use inside and out.
Use cloches in the garden to not only protect your seedling or plant, but from pesky bugs and small animals from eating them.
Here are just a few examples of how we have used these beautiful items.
Displaying dinnerware
A plant terrarium
Fill several glass jars with small objects.
We hope these photos give you some inspiration. However you decide to display them, they will instantly bring attention to any room.

Love cloches I think my favorite ones have come from your store!
Thanks to blogging and pinterest, I'm learning how many things you can do with cloches. Your photos are beautiful!
Love jars for storage, cloches for vignettes, and have also created many terrariums in them as well for my shop!
So enjoyed my visit and going back to catch up on anything I missed out on.
Beautiful weekend to you.
