Perfect Chair Covers

There they were, two vintage lil garden chairs.  One was perfect, the other missing a slat on the back.  We had options to repair, but I was in the mood to sew.   :~)

I stitched simple burlap to fit the chair backs, and then hand-painted "No. 5" in black.
What do you think?

Details:

1 1/2 yards of burlap........ $4.48
1 bottle of paint...........$1.83
Total cost for the project..........$6.31

Creating the perfect chair covers for 5th Place Cottage....priceless!

These chairs are located in yet another section of the patio.  More to come on this!!

Thanks so much for always taking time to drop by and read!  I am planning something special for Friday along with Giveaway #4!

This is a really beautiful project. Did you free-hand or use a stencil? I've seen a few projects like this and wondered where to find stencils that beautiful.
I just love your blog.

Great job!
One thing I don't do is sew. I can make crowns all day long, but sewing is another story.

Love these!! And you will not believe me but I love the number 5 always have. When I read your earlier post about 5 being your favourite number I was dumbstruck...it is so weird to come across people who have these same interests...who would think someone else out there is into numbers?
Have a great week
