Buckets of Talent

This past show offered one surprise after another, I love it when that happens!

One treat was getting a visit from Becky of Buckets of Burlap who also had her gorgeous family in tow.

I mean come on....are they not the poster family for the word adorable?!

We had an opportunity to visit about life, photography, blogging, and I have to tell ya, this girl has it going on!  Have you visited her blog?  If not, you're in for a treat!
Becky is a former teacher who home-schools her beautiful bunch, she even has a second blog that she devotes to home-schooling.  Where does she find the time? : ) And, as if that's not enough to keep her busy, she's turned their house into a charming place that she shares with all of us through her Buckets of Burlap blog.  She's an amazing photographer and decorator.

You can see for yourself, all of the photos in this post are hers!
Becky was even kind enough to share some photography tips with me.  She's such a sweetheart!
If you've not visited her blog recently get your patootie over there!  You will love Becky's maiden post for the year, it's among the sweetest I had the pleasure to read.

I also enjoyed Tricia of Morning T's darling introductory post for 2011, she's such a wonderful writer.  The same holds true for Marian of Miss Mustard Seed, the words of wisdom in her inaugural 2011 post are great inspiration for all of us.

Are we not blessed to have such inspiration and beauty right at our fingertips for the new year?

It's an honor and a privilege to meet so many amazing women through the Shoppe and through blogging.  But, it's particularly sweet when the two merge into one.

I have a post coming up about my New Year's Resolution, did you make any resolutions?

Hi Laurie Anna,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Always fun to meet someone new! I'm a Midwest girl but have two sisters who live in Texas. A couple of years ago I made them take me to Canton...loved every minute of it! I'm hoping to get back there soon.
Have a wonderful week.

Hi Laurie Anna,

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your kind words today! It is so much fun to meet someone new! Speaking of, thanks for the tip about Becky of Buckets of Burlap! I took a peek at your shoppe and it makes me want to move up my trip to Texas! I am going in October but it will be a whirlwind trip as a surprise birthday present to one of my dear friends so I am not sure I will get to Canton. I have not been to Canton is almost 11 years. I used to love going there when I lived in Texas.

What a great idea for hanging plates. My husband ordered me the bottle drying rack from your on-line store for Christmas. Of course printing out the page with big words " I want this" written on it was a slight hint. I love it and will be posting about it soon. Thanks.

I adore Becky's blog and am so excited to finally see a picture of her and her precious family! Thanks for the mention about my new year's post as well...you're a sweetheart and I so appreciate your visits. Now I need to plan a physical visit to your gorgeous store in 2011 for certain as I can't believe Becky made it there before me. ;)
