Farmhouse Dining Room Inspiration

Between road trips in search of Shoppe props and building out the upcoming Shoppe expansion, hubby and I have been spending some of our evenings pulling together the dining room at the Farmhouse on Main™  which I will soon share.

While I was determining the direction for the room I sought out inspiration on Pinterest.

Take a look at some of the lovely dining room inspiration I pinned.

You can see more of my found dining room inspiration here.

As for our own farmhouse dining room, we're just about finished.  Although, I use the term finished loosely because our home is always a work in progress and will never be finished.

Please tell me I'm not alone in this boat!

It seems like there is always something else to be done. I guess it's just like us as Christians...we are always a work in progress.

Blessings to you, sweet lady.

Love that last one. I think a farmhouse dining room should always be casual and inviting.

Hi LaurieAnna. You are definitely not alone. You are such a busy girl, how do you get everything done? I received my dish rack from your shop and I am really pleased with it. Will post about it a little later..Happy Thursday. Can't wait to see your diningroom..Judy

Laurie Anna,
Yes we are in the same boat.
When you are talking about old houses the boat usually has a hole. Just keep bailing water! :D
Love your inspiration photos.

Oh My Word! That first photo is to die for! I WANT THAT SIGN! We moved into a home two years ago and started over after spending seven years on another home that we had just about finished. So no, projects are never really "finished". Your house is beautiful, my daughter and I spend hours drooling over all your photos.

LOVE your dining room ideas!!! I'm in love with that awesome sign, too. I'm wondering if I could replicate it somehow.....hmmmmm.... :)

I think it's more like a cruise ship...BTW with allll the additional room you are getting at your fabulous store, how about a little space for a tea room?
My last visit I wished I had brought water and a sandwich so I wouldn't have to leave. I'm sure I could have bought more if I'd had time to see it all then !
